Glendale Community College placed four runners in the top 12 for a 58-107 victory over Saddleback College at the Southern California Community College Cross Country Championships at Mission Bay Park in San Diego, Calif. The Vaqueros, who won their first SoCal Regional title since 2016, were led by Yajaira Calderon, who finished third (19:41.7). Jamie Levin placed eighth (19:54.9), Phoebe Forsyth came in ninth (20:02.4), Bianca Biel was 12th (20:09.1) and Lydia Forsyth (20:54.4) finished 26th to round out the scorers, with Viviana Martin Del Campo (21:46.9) in 51st and Jasmine Corralejo (22:02.5) in 55th.
